The Council of Residential Specialists is the largest affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. They are also the most productive. The 42,000 members of the Council average 43 transactions per year. More impressively, they represent a little more than 5 % of the total membership of the National Association of Realtors, yet they are involved in over 27 % of all transactions nationally.
It's not an easy designation to achieve. To become a CRS designee, a sales agent must attend courses offered by the Council, and must have successfully completed at least 75 transactions in a five year period.
